Meet the trainers

Andrada Fiscutean

I’m a science and technology journalist trying to find stories nobody else is writing. I’ve written deeply researched features about hackers who attacked the Pentagon or stole millions of dollars to buy Porsches, journalists targeted with malware, politicians trying to block plagiarism checks, and North Korean scientists.

My stories have been featured in Ars Technica, The Guardian, Foreign Policy, Dark Reading, CSO Online, Nature, Vice Motherboard, and more. I’m also a regular on BBC World Service’s podcast Unexpected Elements. In 2019-20, I was a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA, USA.

I have over 25 years of experience working as a radio journalist and 10 as a science and technology reporter. I also teach science & tech journalism at the University of Bucharest.

Andra Zaharia

I’m a communication specialist who’s spent the past 15 years developing teams, companies, and communities around educational and marketing content.

Since 2015, cybersecurity has been my home. In this community, I work with technical teams in established companies and determined startups to drive organic growth through content that elevates readers’ thinking and doing.

I also founded Cyber Empathy, winner of Best New Cybersecurity Podcast and Most Educational Blog at the 2023 European Cybersecurity Blogger Awards and a recommended resource in the SANS LDR521 Security Culture for Leaders course.

🤩 We’ll teach you how to use proven formulas to get you to write confidently about what you know, what you do, and what you believe in!
